Job Description
GPS is hiring CNC Machinists for a family-owned Machine Shop in Summerville, SC! Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom hard-plastics and metals for many industries including cement, automotive, and mining.

- 1st Shift (7:00AM – 3:30PM; Monday through Friday)

- Will set up CNC Machinery using G-code Programming and Master Cam Software
- Will load various materials (metals and hard plastics) into machinery for processing.
- Responsible for milling and lathing machines.
- Will perform self-conducted Quality Inspections of finished products.
- Will operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move pallets of materials as directed.
- Experience with programming CNC machinery is required.
- Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and other measuring calipers.
- Must have stable and reliable work history.
- Forklift operation is required.
- Continual standing, lifting, bending, and stooping is to be expected.
- Specific G-code programming is a plus.
- Experience with Master Cam software is highly preferred.
