Job Description
GPS is hiring 1st Shift Media Service Technicians for a well-established Security Service Company in Orangeburg, SC!

- $16.00/hr - $25.00/hr starting rate of pay, based on experience.
- 1st Shift 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (with overtime if needed).
- Direct Hire placement if offered position.

- Will commute with a team to various customer sites, including commercial and residential locations.
- Will perform installation of fire alarms, security cameras, and security panels including:
- Feeding cables and wires through access holes.
- Mounting and fastening security equipment.
- Diagnosing panel malfunctions and performing repairs as directed.
- Installing electrical components and equipment.
- Testing all security features.
- Ensures that work is completed in a timely manner and meets customer expectations.
- Stable, reliable work history is required.
- Prior experience in electrical wiring, maintenance, or security system installation is a plus.
- Continual walking, bending, lifting, and stooping is to be expected.
- Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
- Must possess critical thinking skills and be trainable.
