Job Description
GPS is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Assemblers in Estill, SC. Our client: A Fortune 1000 manufacturing company that produces linear irrigation equipment, windmill support structures, lighting, traffic, and steel utility poles. Why you should apply:
- Starting pay: $15.90/hr
- 2nd shift: 3 PM – 11 PM, Monday – Thursday, Fridays 1 PM – 9 PM

- Complete assembly, shipping, packaging, and other labor tasks in a manufacturing environment such as:
- Removing straps from coils
- Pulling cable as needed in the assembly of poles
- Operating basic hand and air-operated tools
- Conducting quality checks using various gauges and tools
- Unloading receiving trucks and checking received goods
- Build plates, build structural molds
- Stable work history, with 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
