Forklift Operator
Job Description
GPS is currently recruiting Forklift Operators in the Branchville, SC area to join our client’s winning team. Our client has been in business for over 45 years, employs over 600 team members across 13 locations, and is the top choice for pressure-treated lumber. Why You Should Apply:
- Starting rate of pay: $15/hr
- Temp-to-Hire
- 1st shift, 7 AM – 4 PM, Mon-Thur and 7 AM - 1 PM, Fridays
- Occasional Saturdays / OT as needed
- Opportunity for growth and development
- Operate a heavy-duty 8000 lb. forklift to transport lumber
- Accurately load trailers for delivery
- Unload incoming trailers and trucks
- Stage lumber materials in the warehouse
- Ensure the accuracy of loads
- At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift
- Experience reading pick/order tickets
- Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
