Job Description
GPS is seeking Industrial Dryer Machine Operators for immediate positions in Vance, SC!

- $20.00/hr (based on experience).

- Monday-Friday schedule (with occasional Saturdays).
- Will operate a rubber-tired Front End Loader to lift and transport bulk materials (sand or stone) to and from the processing areas.
- Will safely load materials into the industrial dryer for processing.
- Will monitor the inlet and outlet sides of the dryer to monitor:
- Inlet temperature
- Belt speed
- Air flow
- Burner controls
- Drum Speed
- Responsible for efficiently producing dry-cement mixes while keeping mortar sand, concrete sand, and stone separated from one another.
- Might assist in other areas including packing, forklift operation, or material handling
- Experience in operating heavy equipment is required.
- Must be mechanically inclined and possess high attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work in a hot, dusty environment.
- Stable, reliable, work history is required.
- Prior experience in cement manufacturing, maintenance, or other related fields is a plus.
