Job Description
GPS is hiring 1st shift Production Workers for immediate positions in Barnwell, SC. Pay Rate: $18/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Join a well-established, family-owned company that has been in business since 1989! If you’re dependable, motivated, and enjoy hands-on work, this is the opportunity for you.What You’ll Do
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Join a well-established, family-owned company that has been in business since 1989! If you’re dependable, motivated, and enjoy hands-on work, this is the opportunity for you.What You’ll Do
- Assemble frames, doors, and add components like plastic sliders and shelves
- Assist on the paint booth line for staining and painting
- Use nail guns or staple guns for final assembly
- Perform general labor duties and visual quality inspections
- Operate stationary saws to cut wood to precise dimensions
- Lift up to 40 lbs as needed
- Employer covers 75% of individual medical insurance
- Vision, dental, and 401(k) with 3% match
- Paid holidays (6–7, depending on calendar):
- Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July
- Company meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and summer cookouts
- Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16" (required)
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- High attention to detail
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Carpentry or cabinet-making experience is a plus
