Job Description
Quality Control Technician – Lugoff, SC We’re seeking a Quality Control Technician for a metal fabrication and machine shop located in Lugoff, SC. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering long-term stability and opportunity for advancement. Schedule & Pay

- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- $20.00 per hour
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Read and interpret blueprints to verify part dimensions and tolerances
- Perform random quality checks and document inspection results
- Conduct process audits and assist in resolving quality issues
- Support calibration activities and maintain accurate inspection records
- Collaborate with production and shipping teams to ensure quality compliance
- Minimum of 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills – this is a must
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and related inspection tools
- Solid math and computer skills; familiarity with basic quality software preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
