Lumber Treater Operator
Job Description
GPS is hiring Lumber Treater Operators for an established company in Orangeburg, SC! Why You Should Apply:
- Temp-to-Hire
- Starting at $16.00/hr
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Overtime available
- Benefits available after hire, including health insurance and 401k.
- Operate systems for treating and processing lumber
- Change treatment charges, inspect materials, binders, and cables
- Handle material inventory and perform quality control inspections
- Operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials
- Assist with storage, labeling, and sealing of drums
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Forklift experience required
- Experience utilizing production machinery
- Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable work history and punctual attendance
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
- Basic computer skills
