Job Description
GPS is hiring Machine Operators for a local production company in Orangeburg, SC! Why You Should Apply:
- $19.00/hr. starting rate of pay.
- Pay increases to $20.00/hr once hired on with the client
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.

- Family-oriented company.
- Will train on 1st shift and possibly move to 2nd shift after training.
- 1st Shift Hours: 7:00AM – 3:00PM Monday through Friday.
- 2nd Shift Hours: 3:00PM – 11:00PM Monday through Friday.
- Will work Saturdays until 12:00PM as needed.
- Operate various machinery including quality inspection machines and tenter frame machines.
- Load rolls of material onto machines for processing.
- Visually inspect product samples for defects.
- Operate sit-down or clamp forklift for material handling.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Cross-train in other production tasks such as operating looming and weaving machines.
- Stable work history.
- Prior experience in production environment.
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
