Job Description
GPS is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Newberry, SC. Why You Should Apply:

- Provide technical assistance and resolve electrical problems.
- Assemble electrical systems and prototypes using engineering data.
- Collaborate with engineers to solve development issues.
- Analyze test information to fix design problems.
- Modify diagrams and write specifications for experimental units.
- Install, repair, and upgrade industrial control systems, including PLC programming.
- Conduct quality control inspections and report findings.
- Prepare project cost and time estimates.
- Complete documents accurately.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and engineering principles.
- Proficient in heavy electrical troubleshooting at 480VAC, with or without electrical schematics
- Technical school accreditation or skilled trades program and 4-6 years of experience.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret work instructions and follow directions.
- Good communication skills.
- Technical and design expertise.
- Intermediate math skills.
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Initial training on 1st shift.
