Maintenance Technician

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, including mixers, grinders, pellet mills, conveyors, and packaging lines
- Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues and implement timely solutions
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and production start-ups
- Support automated systems and help troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
- Maintain facility systems such as dust collection, pressure vessels, and utilities
- Ensure safe operation of lifting equipment, including cranes and vacuum lifters
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- 2–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, wiring)
- Experience working with conveyors, pumps, or processing equipment
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documents
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
- Experience in chemical, plastics, or batch processing environments
- Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems
- Experience with packaging lines or form/fill/seal equipment
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and work in an industrial environment
- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
