What’s In It for You:
- Competitive starting pay: $21.00/hr
- Monday–Thursday hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Fridays: 7:30 AM–12:30 PM
- After hire: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, prorated PTO, and several paid holidays
- Supportive, team-oriented environment
- Opportunities to grow your coding expertise in a high-demand specialty
- Review and accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers to oncology, hematology, and radiation services
- Ensure documentation supports assigned codes
- Maintain compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and payer-specific guidelines
- Collaborate with billing teams to resolve coding-related claim issues
- Support audit responses and coding justification
- Stay current on coding updates and oncology advancements
- Educate clinical staff as needed on coding best practices
- Use EMR systems and coding software effectively
- 2+ years of medical coding experience (oncology/hematology/radiation preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPC certification preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, J-codes, and medical terminology
- Experience with payer policies, radiation treatment plans, and EMRs (e.g., ARIA)
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable
