Warehouse Associate
Job Description
GPS is hiring a Forklift Operator for an established agricultural distributor in Orangeburg, SC! Why You Should Apply:
- Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour
- Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility to start at 7:30 AM
- Temporary Assignment: August through December.
- Opportunity to gain experience with a well-established agricultural operation.
- Operate a standard sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Stage, move, and store products throughout the warehouse.
- Transport materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Assist with inventory activities as directed.
- Read and interpret pick sheets to identify designated seed selections.
- Load seeds into a mixing/blending machine.
- Place bags on the machine for product filling.
- Remove filled bags manually and place them on a forklift for transportation and storage.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Prior sit-down forklift experience required.
- Ability to read and follow pick lists accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday.
- Stable and reliable work history.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
